Privacy

Clock Garden does not require an account. Clock preferences, saved timer presets, converter zones, alarms, and world-clock locations are stored in your browser using local storage. They are not synchronized between devices. Running countdowns use session storage for this tab and survive a refresh. Your browser may restore that tab data when restoring a browsing session.

Network requests

The tools calculate time in your browser. This build sends no analytics events and loads no advertising scripts. The hosting provider receives normal page requests, which can include your IP address and requested URL. Timer and converter links can contain the duration, time zones and dates you choose; anyone you give a link to can read those values.

Offline pages

Previously visited pages and their assets can be cached by a service worker. Clearing site data removes those cached files as well as your saved settings.

Permissions

Notification and screen wake-lock permissions are requested only after you choose the relevant control. You can revoke them in browser settings. Alarm labels are included in local notifications but are not uploaded by the core app.

Data removal

Delete individual alarms or locations in the app, or clear this site’s storage in your browser to remove all saved preferences.
